Western Kings major midget hockey player Andrew Antle is The Telegram sports department’s choice as athlete of the week.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Major Midget Hockey League’s leading scorer had five goals and a pair of assists last weekend as the Kings swept a pair of games from the Tri-Pen Osprey.

Antle fired four goals in a 5-3 win last Saturday, and followed up with a goal and two helpers in a 6-3 decision over the Osprey Sunday.

Antle has 15 goals and 20 assists in 18 games played this season. The Kings, at 18-0, are running away with the major midget circuit this season.
