The Nova Scotia Eastlink Major Midget Hockey League will open the 2014/15 edition of their season Saturday, September 13th with all 8 teams in action.
The Newbridge Academy Gladiators will travel to Sydney to play the Cape Breton Tradesmen. Game times are Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2pm with both games in Centre 200.
The Valley CIBC Wood Gundy Wildcats will also be on Cape Breton island this weekend when the Islanders play host for a pair of games in Port Hood. You can take in these games at the Al MacInnis Sports Centre on Saturday at 6pm and Sunday at 12pm.
The Cole Harbour Pro Hockey Life Wolfpack will open their season at home on Saturday against the Weeks Major Midgets with the game time at 7:30pm in Cole Harbour Place. On Sunday the Wolfpack will head down the highway to meet the Charlie’s Pizza South Shore Mustangs in their home opener. Game time on Sunday is 1pm in the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre.
The 2014 defending Atlantic Champion Halifax McDonalds will open their 2014/15 season at home on Saturday against the Charlie’s Pizza South Shore Mustangs who are celebrating their 30th season in the NSEMMHL. Game time in the Civic Centre is 7:30pm. Sunday the McDonalds will head up the highway to meet the Weeks Major Midgets in their home opener at 1pm at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.
