Jeremy Leipsic, a 17-year-old forward with the Winnipeg Wild, helped lead the team to a pair of victories in the showcase weekend by registering seven assists in their two games.

Leipsic, who has been selected as the Chicken Chef Player of the Week, currently leads the Wild with 14 points in seven games (4 goals, 10 assists) and has a plus/minus rating of +12. He is a listed player of the Portland Winterhawks of the WHL as well as the Portage Terriers of the MJHL.
