TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – CALGARY BUFFALOES
Another competitive season in the Alberta Midget Hockey League finished with six teams within nine points of each other atop the standings, led by the Calgary Buffaloes and their 22-7-5 record, good for a five-point cushion over the North Division-winning Edmonton CAC Canadians.

The Buffaloes paced the league with 147 goals, led by leading scorer Matthew Phillips, who ran away with the AMHL scoring title – his 73 points (33-40—73) were 21 better than any other player, and he was No. 2 in power play goals (eight) and shorthanded goals (four).

At the other end of the rink, goaltenders Mike Barabash (10-6-2, 2.75, .906) and Nick Sanders (12-1-3, 2.56, .907) shared the load and helped Calgary allow the fewest goals in the AMHL (92).
