The NSMMHL standings are quite close after a couple weeks of regular season play, but the games played for each team is still a little unbalanced ranging from four to seven games played. The Cole Harbour Pro Hockey Life Wolfpack are tied with the Weeks Major Midgets for first place with eight points each. The Wolfpack are currently undefeated in their four games played, and the Weeks Major Midgets have four wins and three loses earning them their eight points. Weeks Major Midgets are also leading the league in goals for with 25, and the Wolfpack are leading the league in goals against with only 10.
Gerald Blackmore of the Weeks Major Midgets is leading the league with 10 points in his seven games played, and there are many players tied for the most goals, four, and the most assists, six. Goalie Liam MacDonald from the Cape Breton Tradesmen is leading the league in goals against average, 2.00, and is tied with Colten Ellis of the Cape Breton West Islanders for highest save percentage, 0.94.
As it is still early in the season, and the games played still unbalanced, the stats of this league are likely to change quite a bit in the next couple of weeks of game play. Be sure to keep up to date with all the latest scores and top players.
