The SMAAAHL had eight regular season games this past weekend. Two ended in overtime, one in shutout, one shutout, and only one game had fewer than four goals. The Moose Jaw Generals climbed to first place this weekend with three wins and one overtime loss earning them seven points. The Saskatoon Contacts, who were tied for first place last week, are now in second place with three wins and a loss earning them six points. The Notre Dame Hounds are currently leading the league in goals for with 17, and the Moose Jaw Generals have the fewest goals against with only three.
Adam Dawe of the Notre Dame Hounds is still leading the league in points now with three goals and five assists earning him eight points, doubling the four he had last weekend. There are six players tied for second place with five points each. Colby Haugen of the Saskatoon Contacts is still leading the league in goals now with five, and Adam Dawe is still leading the league in assists with five.
Dean McNabb, goalie for the Regina Pat Canadians, is leading the league with zero goals against earning a shutout in his only game played, and Colby Entz from the Moose Jaw Generals is a close second with only one goal against and a save percentage of 0.982 in his two games played.
