There were seven games played last week in the NSMMHL, but only three of which ended with a one goal difference: the Weeks Major Midgets defeated the Cape Breton Tradesmen 4-3, the Steele Subaru Major Midgets defeated the Halifax McDonalds Major Midget 2-1., and the Halifax Major Midget defeated the Cole Harbour Pro Hockey Life Wolfpack 2-1.

There were two shutouts: the Steele Subaru Major Midgets defeated Charlie’s Pizza South Shore Mustangs 5-0 and the Valley CIBC Wood Gundy Wildcats defeated Charlie’s Pizza South Shore Mustangs 3-0.
 
The Wolfpack are holding onto first place with 55 points, and the Steel Subaru Major Midgets are in second place with 53 points trying to claim that first place title before the season ends next month. The Halifax McDonalds Major Midget and the Valley CIBC Wood Gundy Wildcats are tied for third with 32 points each.
 
Dylan Riley from the Wildcats is leading the league in goals and overall points with 28 goals and 18 assists earning him 46 points. Alexander Arab from the Wolfpack is leading the league in assists with 29. Aidan Hosein from the Steele Subaru Major Midgets is the goalie to watch with a 0.94 save percentage and a 1.64 goals against average.
