Alliance Hockey of Ontario started their 2014-15 regular season this past weekend.
The season kicked off Saturday with an exciting game between the Lambton Sting and the Windsor Jr. Spitfires who played to a 2-2 tie all the way through overtime, but the Sting got the better of the Spitfires in the shootout to get the "W".
Huron Perth hosted Waterloo for the second game of the day and season, but home town fans didn't get want they hoped for, as the Wolves blanked the Lakers 5-0.
Sunday started out with the London Jr. Knights hosting the Windsor Jr. Spitfires which has been a great rivalry throughout the years. London got the better of Windsor, but only by one goal as the Knights edged the Spits 5-4.
The Lakers bounced back from their shutout loss on Saturday with a shutout win of their own against the Cambridge Hawks 4-0.
Monday's lone game between the Waterloo Wolves and London Jr. Knights ended up in a shootout with London prevailing 5-4.
