AMHL: Week Three Recap*
- Submitted by

In today's AMHL Week Three Regular Season Recap, the CAC Gregg Distributor Canadians have maintained their position atop the leaderboard with a solid effort this past weekend increasing their lead by one point.

Their 4-0-2 record for a total of ten points with twenty one goals for and eleven goals against is still a league best.

There is a two way tie for second between the Lethbridge Hurricanes and the Calgary Northstars. Both team have eight points with Lethbridge sporting a 3-1-2 record with twenty five goals for and twelve against while the Northstars have a 2-0-4 record with seventeen goals for and thirteen against.

In the scoring race, Matthew Phillips of the Calgary Buffaloes is the top gun with eleven points. He is tied for league league best in goals with eight and has three assists all in only four games for an amazing 2.75 PPG average.

There is a three way tie for second starting with Tanner Thompson of the Lethbridge Hurricanes who is tied for the top spot in goals with eight to go with his two assists for a total of ten points.

Ryley Smith of the Red Deer Optimist Chiefs has seven goals and three assists and rounding out the three players tied for second is Parker Kelly of the Sherwood Park J. Ennis Kings who leads the league in assists with eight and has two goals for his ten points.

Between the pipes, since there have only been a total of four potential games for the goaltenders to play in, we'll go with GAA and at least two games played.

Sitting on top of the heap is Ian Scott of the Calgary Northstars with two games played and a 1.33 GAA to go with his stingy .960 save percentage and a record of 1-0-2.

Second place belongs to Arik Weersink of the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Weersink has a 1.67 GAA and .915 save percentage accompanying his 2-0-1 record.

Last but not least, Josh Williams of the Calgary Flames is third amongst netminders with a 2.04 GAA, .941 save percentage and a record of 1-0-2.
