TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – TISDALE TROJANS
The Tisdale Trojans picked up points in 37 of 44 games to survive a two-horse race atop the SMAAAHL standings, edging out the Regina Pat Canadians by just a single point.

The Trojans ran off a pair of seven-game winning streaks (Nov. 9-27 and Jan. 13-Feb. 1) beat Regina in their final two meetings and earned points in all 22 of their home games (20-0-2) to help clinch top spot.

Tisdale finished No. 2 in the league in goals for (201) and goals against (111), just behind Regina in both categories.

Rookie netminder Justen Close was sensational, earning the second most wins (19) while finishing with the second best goals-against average (2.09) and fourth-best save percentage (.919).

On the other side of the puck, Kalem Zary (78 points) and Drew Warkentine (66 points) carried the offensive load, finishing third and fourth in league scoring, respectively.
