TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – AJAX/PICKERING RAIDERS
The defending OMHA champions made it back-to-back regular season crowns in the ETA; the Ajax/Pickering Raiders outlasted Richmond Hill for top spot in the West Division and the ETA, finishing with a four-point lead.
Ajax/Pickering opened its season with 12 wins and a tie in its first 13 games, was helped by a sensational 17-2-3 record against its own division and posted an 8-1-1 mark against teams from the East.
The Raiders had the league’s No. 1 offence, leading the ETA with 167 goals in 32 games, including 20 games of at least five goals. Ajax/Pickering also ranked near the top in goals against, finishing second with just 66.
