Congratulations to Les Grenadiers de Chateauguay on defeating the UFA/Strathmore Bisons 7-1 to advance to the 2015 TELUS Cup Gold Medal Game!!!

The Bisons started things out with an exciting short handed goal at 9:56 of the first period by Shane Fraser with the assist going to Davis Shelton.

Chateauguay answered back with an evening things up at 13:51 when Jacob Lapierre scored with helpers going to Alexandre Desgagnes and Xavier Grier.

That's how the first period ended with the Bisons getting eight shots on goal and Les Grenadiers putting up a whopping nineteen!

From then on Chateauguay went on to scoring six additional unanswered goals, three in the second and three in the third.

Les Grenadiers will go on to the Gold Medal game facing the Toronto Young Nationals who upset the undefeated Regina Pat Canadians 3-1. The game will be televised LIVE on TSN.

Regina will face UFA/Strathmore for the bronze medal game. This game will be broadcast LIVE on FastHockey.
