The Okanagan Rockets earned two points over the weekend as they split a pair of games against the Greater Vancouver Canadians.
The Rockets earned their 7th straight win on Saturday with a 3-2 victory of the Canadians. Jordan Reynolds had 24 saves in the game over their mainland rivals. Unfortunately the Rockets could not maintain their momentum on Sunday as they dropped a 4-2 decision to the Canadians.
On Sunday Greater Vancouver got out to a 3-0 lead and the Rockets managed to get two points on the board but it wasn’t enough. The loss snaps the Rockets seven game win streak and moves their record to 9-3-0 in the BCMML. The Rockets are back in action on the weekend as they welcome the Valley West Hawks to the Capital News Centre on November 8th and 9th. Game times are 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
