TOP REGULAR SEASON TEAM – WINNIPEG WILD
The Winnipeg Wild cruised to the top of the MMAAAHL, finishing 14 points up on second-place Brandon as the only team with single-digit losses.

The Wild started the season with eight straight wins, and reeled off 17 consecutive ‘W’s from Nov. 15-Jan. 11 to distance itself from the rest of the league.

Winnipeg was far and away the No. 1 scoring team racking up 230 goals, 50 more than any other team. Jeremey Leipsic (20-64—84) was the offensive catalyst, recording points in his first 19 games and finishing with a 21-point lead in the MMAAAHL scoring race.

Between the pipes, Mitchel Adamyk backstopped Winnipeg’s league-leading defence (75 goals against in 44 games), leading the MMAAAHL in wins (22), goals-against average (1.22), save percentage (.942) and shutouts (seven).
